Terms of use
Plain English terms for towpath.digital and the general rules that sit behind our products. Each product also has its own terms. If you use or buy a product, its own terms apply to it, and where they differ from these, the product's terms win.
Who we are
Towpath Digital Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16913912), registered office Huntingdon Boathaven, The Avenue, Godmanchester, Huntingdon PE29 2AF.
What you can do
Use the products for their stated purpose. Be honest about who you are and the businesses you represent. Pay for paid plans if you use them.
What you can't do
Use the services to harass, scrape, spam or break the law. Impersonate someone else. Resell access without permission. Reverse-engineer or attempt to compromise the services.
Content you submit
You keep ownership of what you submit (listings, reviews, business details, photos). You give us a licence to host and display it as part of providing the service. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
Prices and payment
Every price is published on the product's own page. You pay the price shown when you buy, through Stripe. Monthly plans renew monthly and yearly charges renew yearly until you cancel; for example, 3 Wee Pages is £149 to launch and then £49 a year from year two. We will tell you before a price you pay changes, and you can cancel before it does. Refunds and cancellation are set out in each product's terms.
Leaving
You can cancel a subscription at any time, and ask for an export of your data. Where leaving has a published charge, it is on the product's page before you buy: for example, 3 Wee Pages charges £25 to release your domain so you can move it.
Features in development
Some products describe features that are not live yet, such as online self-booking for pitches on PayCamp, or connecting your own .co.uk to a 3 Wee Pages site. A feature marked as coming or in development is not part of what you use or buy until the product says it is live.
Availability
We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change features or these terms; we'll tell you in advance of material changes.
Liability
We're a small UK business. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or third-party content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where the law doesn't allow it, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
